The animation in this new one is better than the previous ones I think - the artists are improving at showing the exotic different worlds of the POTC universe.
And this new OC, Lord what's-his-name is brilliant - adds more substance to what are essentially spin-off stories of Jack's many adventures. The guy is funny:
"Because no one has this map!" *all proud and smug*
"This was not on the map... "

I love his face in page 12 XD makes me laugh every time I see it!
Just imagine the picture: 21 year old, reading a comic for kids on the bus, starts laughing like mad all of a sudden... People think I'm crazy anyway...
